They’re being kept from approaching the parade on the Fifth Avenue, had to stay on this side of the barricade on Madison. At one point during a face off with the parade participants, a police woman walked over to ask photographers to move onto opposite of Madison, evidently to some documenting and spreading messages carried out by this group must have been seen to be damaging. Not all smart phones pointed at them are meant to be nice, some are meant to throw a challenge. Nasty words and curses can be heard frequently from passing Jewish crowds who support the Israel action, multiple times had a young lady passing by shouting “low life” in the face of these resilient men. The orthodox men never reacted to the humiliation. They kept their signs high and paced closely with the group. Only had they chanted verses after being stopped on 68th street, four blocks from the parade ending on 72nd, “Judaism is to stay, Zionism must go!” “Anti-Israel is Not anti-semitism!” To the majority, they represent an antithesis clearly contradict to what the event embodies. In a separate story, an old man with gray hair and beard, presumably a Christian, affixed a four line message to the back of his jacket, holding a wooden cross and a copper bell, stood on 56th & Madison facing a direction believed to be the south-east corner of the Trump Tower, delivering his blessings. Catching curious eyes from spectators, the four line message on the man’s back reads,
Jesus came bringing us peace But our world chooses to live by the sword In the name of Christ stop the genocide Donald Trump
