Dec 31, 2025 Lockheed Martin Corp. has secured a $328.5 million contract to produce advanced targeting and navigation systems, with a significant portion designated for Taiwan’s Air Force.
The U.S. Department of War awarded the undefinitized contract action to Lockheed’s Orlando, Florida facility for the production of Sniper, Infrared Search and Track, and Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night fixed wing hardware.

美國國防部週三（31日）正式公告，軍工巨擘洛克希德·馬丁（Lockheed Martin）已獲得總價上限3.285億美元（約新台幣102.8億元）的合約，將為台灣空軍生產55具先進的「紅外線搜索追蹤」（IRST）莢艙。
五角大廈在聲明中罕見強調，此採購是為了滿足台灣的「緊急作戰需求」（urgent operational need）。
