As you may have noticed, we like to blow stuff up on this channel. So when the International Red Cross approached us to collaborate on a video about nuclear weapons, we were more than excited.
Until we did the research. It turned out we were a bit oblivious off the real impact of nuclear weapons in the real world, on a real city. And especially, how helpless even the most developed nations on earth would be if an attack occurred today.
So hopefully this video demonstrates how extremely non fun a real world nuclear attack would be, without being too gruesome. This collaboration was a blast (no pun intended) and we want to say a huge thank you to the International Red Cross!

Bravo, btw, do you estimate that cannibalism will be pervasive in China then?
Thank you for uploading it. This kind of graphic cartoon styled youtube videos are very intuitively educational, which is good. But documentaries from great broadcasters like the BBC would be better if you want to cover the needs of those ordinary folks who have greater interest and want to learn more, in my opinion.

Surah Al-Anfal 8:54-57 imply that Allah is going to summon a massive flood to destroy the "Pharaoh's people," who commit sins, do not believe in Allah, and break international treaties.
I am afraid that the "flood" could persist for three decades. I pledge myself to the armies of the Light and to fight alongside the angels of the Heavenly Host, as I am called by my duty to defeat the "Pharaoh" and to envelop her and her minions with a great wall.
One problem with the International Red Cross's video here though, is that they are advocating for something like "Belling the Cat" in La Fontaine's Fables.
While it might be possible to pressure the democratically elected leaders in the West to reduce the nuclear arsenal, asking Xi and the Chinese communists to do the same is exactly like a group of mice asking the cat to wear a collar with a bell.
Historically, the SALT I & II and START I & II were only able to make the Soviet Union to reduce a part of their nuclear arsenal (at a heavy cost of the West).
The INF Treaty effectively eliminated all of the intermediate-range nuclear weapons of the Soviet Union and the US. However, Russia was cheating behind out backs, and developed the SSC-8 intermediate-range nuclear cruise missile.
