张艺谋的《长城》其实是一则政治寓言。饕餮，代表着马教。宋朝，代表华夏正统。罗马人马特达蒙，西方文明。鞑靼，苏俄。
“西南方有人焉，身多毛，头上戴豕。贪如狼恶，好自积财，而不食人谷。强者夺老弱者，畏群而击单。名曰饕餮。”
饕餮是对支共的准确描述。“身多毛”：以毛润之伪装，钱币、宫城，充斥毛的形象。“头上戴豕”，嘴脸丑陋。贪如狼恶，好为自己聚敛积财，以邪术污物为食。社达主义，以权势为本，欺凌弱势，害怕人民结社，使之原子化，分而食之。名曰饕餮。
饕餮来自苏俄，此时的苏俄已经被饕餮控制。马特达蒙，当然是有私心的，并非来帮助中国，而是来“偷窃”中国的技术。这一点隐喻着西方近代礼乐制度的中国起源，就是孔孟之道在英美实现了。
宋朝学者道出了饕餮的成因：天罚。这也是马主义成因一致，由于资产阶级的腐败和礼崩乐坏，而被撒旦乘机蛊惑人类，一个幽灵盘旋在欧洲上空，马克思主义邪灵诞生了。
