WITHDRAWAL: Reuters is withdrawing clips from a live feed of Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korea Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and Chinese President Xi Jinping. CCTV granted permission for use, but later withdrew consent and Reuters withdrew the videos.

The Reuters newsroom requested and was granted permission from CCTV to publish clips from a live feed of Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korea Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and Chinese President Xi Jinping. CCTV later rescinded its legal consent on the grounds that the clips Reuters published exceeded the agreed-upon scope and that the editorial treatment applied to this material resulted in a misrepresentation of the facts and statements contained within the feed. Reuters withdrew the videos because it no longer held the legal permission to publish this copyrighted material.
We stand by the accuracy of what we published. We have carefully reviewed the published footage, and we have found no reason to believe Reuters longstanding commitment to accurate, unbiased journalism has been compromised.
