The soldiers’ explanation on why they did so:
“In the briefing, we are told that the point to which the climbers and the people are going to work and place things is at the top of the peak (it is literally a kilometer north of the highest UN post on the mountain) which they decided to call - listen carefully - "The Jesus" and why - because there is a cross there that was built there a long time ago and it marks the summit, the place there to this day is called - "The Cross"
We really didn't like it and were worried that from now on, no one would have a reason to see a cross there and call this place that...”

现在看来以色列确实不是什么好东西，当然我反对墙内被中共洗脑式的反犹。但是内塔尼亚胡这个逼就是以色列的习近平，为了自己权力延续到处找机会开战。

很正常，虽然耶稣自称是上帝的儿子，但犹太人不承认这一点，反而认为这是对雅威的亵渎，这种犹太教和基督教的矛盾由来已久，算不得什么大惊小怪的新闻。
唉，基督教、犹太教、伊斯兰教，都是信仰同一个神的，何必彼此横眉冷对呢？令人惋惜。

你要说是毁坏千年历史的古迹那确实人神共愤，我在中国的老房子都有几十年历史了，我还嫌不早点拆呢。打仗破坏点东西很了不起？
当然我不认为这是什么好事，但也谈不上是什么坏事。感想只有一个，士兵大概相当有宗教热情，真把有人信耶稣当回事。

Milan (AsiaNews) – In recent days, a Christian cemetery has been vandalised, gunshots have been fired at the cross on an Archbishopric building, a car with threatening writings has been spotted, and a Christian couple was brutally murdered under mysterious circumstances.
These four incidents are not yet a pattern or trend, but they nevertheless constitute food for thought, and raise concern over the fate of Syria’s Christian minority, especially at a time of hope and uncertainty, in the wake of the ouster of the dictator, Bashar al-Assad, and the rise to power of the opposition led by the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) group, once affiliated with the al-Nusra front (formerly al-Qaeda).
Yesterday, in an interview with the BBC the leader of the group, Ahmed al-Sharaa, denied that he wants to turn Syria into a new Afghanistan, stressing that the two countries are different, with different traditions.
Speaking about the situation, an anonymous government source told AsiaNews that, “These attacks are more against Russia than Syrian Christians. The Greek Orthodox have been targeted, largely because they are the Christian group closest to Moscow, and have been linked to the Russian Orthodox Church since the 18th century."
Overall, “Russia has killed more Syrian Muslims than Assad. Russian air attacks have destroyed 50 per cent of houses and buildings.” It is no coincidence that “Russian military forces are leaving Syria because the new regime does not welcome them.”

Israel will one day receive backlash, without a doubt. I understand an operation in Gazan and in border zones will be important more or less, but now the IDF is pushing into territories beyond Golan, I personally think it's too much.
很正常能理解 犹太人认为 自己的约定 不是旧的， 又怎么会承认我们基督徒的 新约？ 怎么又会承认伊斯兰的“新新约”？ 更不可能承认 摩门耶证之类的“新新新约”。
目前大部分的犹太人认为 立约（ just only for jew)的这部分犹太人持有的观点还是为多数.
所以他们才说自己是永恒唯一拣选，这话不假 但也不完全对，总之主耶稣再来 一切揭晓!
现在还没来 就是希望世人悔改 包括 这部分目前刚硬的犹太选民，或者说 旧约时代的 余民.
所以综上所述，看到类似新闻，不论是被伊斯兰噶还是被以色列噶的基督徒 都会面临这些逼迫，现在基督徒看这些都 “淡然了之”了 ， 所以没必要再挑，没意义.
而且，因为 我们基督徒知道这些事是必然发生的! 主在地上的时候就告诫过我们了，他们连主人都逼迫，何况我们这些做仆人的呢？对吧.
所以唯一嘱咐各位弟兄姊妹的就是，基督徒们警醒度日即可， 安静忍耐到底 等候主耶稣大荣光的再来，以上 是常识.
马太福音 5:11-12
“人若因我辱骂你们，迫害你们，捏造各样坏话毁谤你们，你们就有福了！
应当欢喜快乐，因为你们在天上的赏赐是大的。在你们以前的先知，人也是这样逼迫他们。」
